We can see why YouSendIt, the popular universal file sharing app, would want to take on Dropbox. 2012 was the year of cloud computing and it's clearly the way of the future. What's interesting is that YouSendIt is attempting to approach the market without actually building a cloud computing system.

YouSendIt has instead chosen to build an app that is simply better at doing business-related activities and accessing your data. The company has purchased Found, a file searching program, and integrated it into their app. Now you can search for anything with a few swipes and locate what you need within a few moments.

This is the one of the final steps in the BYOD revolution. BYOD standing for “Bring Your Own Device”, but might as well be “Bring Your Own Desk”. The app even comes equipped with a signature system to keep people from getting their hands on your critical information.

With apps like these, will we even need offices? What do you think?
